GroceryAid Sporting Lunch 2021

FOTP were delighted to attend and be major sponsors for the 2021 GroceryAid Sporting Lunch held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House London which raised an impressive £633K.  It was the place to be on Friday, 12th November!

Ricky’s Story which was premiered at the event, was incredibly moving and highlighted the incredible work that GroceryAid does to support the colleagues in the industry.  In addition, for us and other companies there it emphasised how important it is to continue our support.

Finger on the Pulse Research Ltd. (FOTP) are proud to support local, national and international charities as a way to giving back to the community.  A cause particularly close to the company is the industry Charity – GroceryAid.  GroceryAid have been providing a range of support, including emotional, practical and financial, for Grocery people since 1857. 

The event was attended by more than 1,000 colleagues from across 200 companies in Grocery and FMCG.   The event was hosted by Mike Tindall MBE and Natalie Pinkham.  Also in attendance were famous Sporting Legends such as Sir Geoff Hurst, Sir Alastair Cook, Max Whitlock, Laura Kenny (nee Trott) and Ryan Sidebottom, to name the few.  It was a fantastic afternoon of fundraising, entertainment and networking, raising a significant total of £633K.

As a major sponsor, FOTP were delighted to welcome to their table and host former professional footballer, Don Hutchison, who played as a midfielder and forward for the Premier League clubs, such as Liverpool, West Ham United, Everton and Sunderland.  More recently, Don has established a successful career as a sports television pundit, commentator and match analyst.  Amongst his many achievements, Don earned 26 full caps for the Scottish national team and scored six international goals.
